Reasons for Change
The original design of the AUX1 and AUX2 analog audio interfaces at the bottom of the RM702A/RM702C microphone was intended to:
- Support analog audio input and output, but it was found during usage that customers often needed further clarification on the interfaces and wiring.
- To reduce confusion regarding the analog audio interfaces at the bottom of the RM702A/RM702C microphone, only the labeling of the bottom shell interface names has been changed, while the product functionality remains unchanged.
Changes Made
- The original interface silk screen name "AUX1" is now changed to "SPKOUT", serving as the audio output interface (for playing remote audio), to output audio signals received from remote sources to local speakers for playback.
- The original interface silk screen name "AUX2" is now changed to "AECOUT", serving as the audio output interface to output locally captured microphone sound to terminals or recording hosts.
